She began to cultivate an adult image in 2009 with the release of The Time of Our Lives (2009), an extended play which presented a more mainstream pop sound, and by filming The Last Song (2010), a coming-of-age drama film. The former included Cyrus's best-selling single, "Party in the U.S.A." (2009). A studio album titled Can't Be Tamed was released in 2010 and presents a new dance-pop sound. The music video and lyrics of the album's lead single, "Can't Be Tamed", portrays a more sexualized image for the entertainer. Cyrus ranked number thirteen on Forbes' 2010 Celebrity 100.
She is also involved in different scandals and controversies and the very new one is smoking a bong that was reportedly filled with salvia.
Watch the VIDEO here: Miley Cyrus Video-- Partying with a Bong ---this took place five days later her 18th birthday at her Los Angeles home.
Is it appropriate? Well maybe but maybe not. The fact that there is nothing wrong because possession of salvia is legal and that she's in her legal age but being look up by a 7-12 years old girl is something. She's a role model and she is always defended by her loyal fans but is this something worth it?! Her father Billy Ray Cyrus had also reacted in the said controversy via Twitter saying, "Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. I'm so sad. There is much beyond my control right now." Is this another way for Miley to get her "about-to-divorce" parents' attention? Or maybe this video was supposed to be private?! Miley Cyrus Video-- Partying with a Bong
